Broken Shower Knob screw turned off ...?
Hello. I have a problem, please help me. I have in my shower single control for on / off the water, so crack command and fell. I really needed a shower and do not have time to get to the hardware store to replace the command so I used clamps (I know, I bad) to turn it on and off. To get worse, he was working, so I just do not fix it. Yesterday the screw off. I do not know how to begin. I went and bought a new kit today, with the front plate, screws, knob, etc. The problem is, I think Whne broke the screw that I no longer have the ability to get to the root diverter. Any ideas? Should I call a plumber? Thank you very much!
not sure if this will help or not, but I think there must be a nut holding it the mother in her place and not allow the mother leaves to turn water from time to time. if there is a nut about the mother who needs someone with a deep socket wrench to take the nut so you can make every mother and replace it with a new one. I do not have that particular system, but all I have to work the way I'm saying. I had to replace several of them for years. I'm not sure what the team will do for you, as I am concerned you need a new stem or someone who can drill a hole in that fell off the bolt and a screw insertion tool investor. (I forget what it is called) I hope this is of some use. I spoke only those stems screw the whole way. turn it counterclockwise.
