Switched outlet?
I have several light switches that go nowhere. I made the switch plate off, it is a single pole, the black wire at both ends, as the results would be the lower half of an outlet. I took the outlets to remove the black wire slightest hope that were fed by the switch and forgot to divide the output. It was not the case. However, none of outlets are divided. How I can know if these switches go? Is heated by electricity, so there are tons of cables in the attic of 12 "of insulation so it is difficult to follow no path ..
a plug lamp in each outlet and switch on, press the light switch and if that is the switched outlet? switches are connected to some cables?
